Product Description:

The MPO (Multi-fiberPushOn) connector is part of the MT series of connectors. These connectors have ferrules with two guide holes and guide pins, also known as pins, for precise connection. By JFOPT‘s processing MPO connectors and optical fiber cables, various forms of MPO jumpers can be produced. These jumpers can be designed with 8 to 32 cores, with the 12-core MPO connector being the most commonly used.

The compact design of the MPO connector allows for a higher number of cores and a smaller size for the MPO jumper. This makes it ideal for use in environments where high-density integrated optical fiber lines are necessary, such as in the wiring process, FTTX, and with 40/100GSFP, SFP+, and other transceiver modules. MPO patch cords are also commonly used for both internal and external connection applications within equipment.
