The MPO (Multi-fiberPushOn) connector is part of the MT series of connectors. These connectors have ferrules with two guide holes and guide pins, also known as pins, for precise connection. By JFOPT‘s processing MPO connectors and optical fiber cables, various forms of MPO jumpers can be produced. These jumpers can be designed with 8 to 32 cores, with the 12-core MPO connector being the most commonly used.
The compact design of the MPO connector allows for a higher number of cores and a smaller size for the MPO jumper. This makes it ideal for use in environments where high-density integrated optical fiber lines are necessary, such as in the wiring process, FTTX, and with 40/100GSFP, SFP+, and other transceiver modules. MPO patch cords are also commonly used for both internal and external connection applications within equipment.
In order to improve network efficiency and reduce potential failures, we recommend using 4, 8, 12, and 24-core MPO connectors. Not only do these connectors provide a stable and reliable connection, but they also help minimize the amount of space needed for wiring.
Our connectors are designed to support smooth and seamless upgrades from 10G to 40G and 100G network transmission. Additionally, they also support a delay index suitable for 100G transmission, ensuring a smooth transition to faster speeds.
We understand that different users have different configuration requirements, which is why our connectors are compatible with various fiber specifications. This includes multi-mode OM1 and OM3, as well as single-mode G652D and G657A2, allowing users to customize their setup to fit their specific needs.
We have also developed a new optical cable with a special circular structure and smaller outer diameter. This design achieves a smaller bending radius for the trunk optical cable, making it easier and faster to store and lay. Say goodbye to time-consuming and difficult installation processes.
